Here are some ways you can help.
- Participate in equine assisted activities as a:
- Horse leader, side-walker, horse handler, arena assistant.
- Horse Coordinator
- Maintain first aid kits for equines and humans.
- Judge for various events.
- Provide clerical help in the office
- Clean tack

Online NARHA Volunteer Course
- To access this on-line course go to NARHA's home page @ www.NARHA.org, log in to the on-line store, click the on-line courses. One of the choices is the volunteer training on-line course. Identify yourself as a Whitewater Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Association member and the class is free. If you pay the $5.00, $2.50 of that comes to WTRRA. You can also access the instructor certification training on-line web-course.
• The volunteer course is provided free of charge to volunteers of Center Members as a membership benefit. Other interested individuals not affiliated with a NARHA Center may purchase the course at a cost of $5.
• If you qualify to receive the Volunteer Course for free, please email sbostic@narha.org to register for the course. You must provide your name, address and contact information plus the name and number of the NARHA Center to which you are affiliated in order to have your request processed. WTRRA NARHA number 13082

WTRRA participates in

Community Partnership Program
Whitewater is linked with Albertson's and if you use their blue customer Preferred card, WTRRA can receive a donation for what you spend. This is an easy way to help WTRRA every time you shop at Albertsons. It's really easy to do. Simply go to http://www.albertsonscp.com/ then go to the "In the Community" pull-down tab and click on the Community Partners' logo. This will bring you to the correct page. From there just click on the shopper's registration and enter your Albertsons preferred card number from the back of the card under the bar code. Then it will ask for the community partner number, which is: 49000106353
By doing this, WTRRA can earn up to 4% of your shopping dollars every time you use your card.
