Remembering Dale Ackerman
Dale and his wife Sharon have operated Acks Auction in Salmon for many years. Sharon has continued to run the business since Dale's sudden death in 2006. Dale is remembered for his wit and humor but also for his generosity. When not running his auctions or spending time with his family he was donating his services to the community. WTRRA benefitted from his generosity at each of their first 10 ride-a-thons. Dale was also the emcee at the first stick horse rodeo in 2001. He livened up the event as only Dale could. As you can see from the photo he was always willing to participate in the fun, making it more fun for all. The WTRRA Board of Directors is reviving the rodeo and wants to recognize and honor Dale for his involvement with WTRRA and the community. Sharon continues to support WTRRA and the community.
